Summary of the Book

Wilbur is a little pig who is considered the smallest and weakest of the litter that he belongs to. He has struggled to live from the time he was born. Little Fern begs her father, Mr. Arable, to take good care of the baby pig. She is successful in this and Wilbur is moved to Zuckerman Farm. Here, he makes many friends, including Charlotte who is a wise spider and a true friend. She and Wilbur are aware of the fact that the little pig is being fed well for the wrong reasons. They come up with a plan to foil the evil plans of Mr. Zuckerman. Soon, with Charlotte’s help, her amazing webs, and the help of other friends in the barn, Wilbur becomes a prize-winning pig at the County Fair. This is a story that will show its readers the true meaning of friendship and the different kinds of friends that you will find in life.
