Pink Palace is the name of a seven-story apartment building. The lives of people on each floor of this building are different. On the first floor, there is a doorman, two receptionists and the building manager. On the second floor, there is a large community center and prayer hall.

The author begins the story in the book with the people living on the third floor. The stories are arranged sequentially with different aspects of the people living on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th floors. The story 'Pink Palace' depicts how many different mentalities people live in this one building.
