The Philips EasySpeed Steam Iron GC1756 removes fabric wrinkles via a 2000W heating element and 25g/min continuous steam output. A ceramic soleplate conducts heat directly to the garment surface for efficient pressing. This version improves on the GC1740 by increasing the steam boost to 100g and adding an electronic auto shut-off safety system.
The internal sensor cuts power after 30 seconds when the soleplate stays flat. It waits 8 minutes before shutting down if the unit remains vertical on its heel.
The GC1756 upgrades the soleplate to ceramic and increases steam boost to 100g. It also includes an automatic shut-off safety feature absent in the older GC1740 model.
