In 1997, our late founder stood on a stretch of barren desert in the Bahareya Oasis, 370 kilometers west of Cairo, with a vision. A lifelong entrepreneur from a farming family, he believed Egypt had the potential to become a global leader in premium Medjool date production. Today, that vision thrives as Linah Farms, a family-owned and operated business that continues to set the standard for excellence in Medjool dates. From humble beginnings, we transformed virgin desert land into a lush oasis, now home to over 70,000 thriving date palms, with a target of reaching 100,000. Our farm is more than just a business; it's a legacy rooted in sustainability, innovation, and dedication to quality. Over the years, we’ve grown into a fully integrated operation that completes the agricultural value chain—from propagation and cultivation to packing and export. While Medjool dates are our crown jewel, we also produce Barhi dates, mangoes, and medicinal herbs, depending on the season. Every date we grow carries with it our founder’s vision and our family’s promise of quality, from our farm to your table.
