Antor Pal was born and raised in Banibaha, Rajbari Sadar, Rajbari, Bangladesh. He completed his Honours in English and earned an MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT from the University of Barishal. He currently serves as an Assistant Teacher at Nasima Kadir Molla High School and Homes, Narsingdi.

He began his literary journey in February 2020. His literary interests include drama, novella, and sonnet writing, with a focus on human emotions, identity, social contradictions, and psychological conflict. Influenced by modernist and existential literature, particularly the works of Henrik Ibsen and T. S. Eliot, The Weight of Expectations marks his first published book.
