Hazel Gardner is a children’s author who lives in Lancashire with her human, cat and tortoise family. She has a Master’s in Linguistics from The University of Manchester, where she currently works in a public engagement and communications role. Hazel enjoys writing everything from bold and bright laugh-out-loud picture books to mindful, gentle stories and she is particularly fond of all things spooky. Hazel is the author of the 'Penguin and Pup' series of picture books, published by Macmillan Children's Books.
