"Sanjoy Hazarika is a researcher, columnist, mentor and activist. A former reporter for the New York Times, he has been published extensively in Indian and international media. His earlier books include the acclaimed Strangers of the Mist and its sequel, Strangers No More. Hazarika has produced over a dozen documentaries including on the Brahmaputra, dolphins, governance, conflict and rights.
