Brian Robert Moore is a literary translator from New York City. He has translated books by Italian authors including Goliarda Sapienza, Lalla Romano and Michele Mari, and his shorter translations have appeared in Guernica, The Nation, The Poetry Review and elsewhere. He has received the PEN Grant for the English Translation of Italian Literature, a PEN Translates award and a National Endowment for the Arts Translation Fellowship.
