Subir Chowdhury is a leading management consultant and writer.
He has authored numerous books on various aspects of business management including titles such as Next Generation Business Handbook, Design For Six Sigma, and The Power of LEO: The Revolutionary Process for Achieving Extraordinary Results.

Well-known for his expertise in the area of quality management, he writes essentially about the key aspects of operations management that deal with quality improvement such as the Six Sigma model and other measures of process improvement.

He was born in 1967 in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He studied Aeronautical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur and, later, Industrial Management at Central Michigan University. He founded ASI Consulting Group which provides consultation in areas of quality management and performance improvement. He has received many leading honours in recognition of his knowledge in the field of quality. The Society of Automotive Engineers has also instituted the ‘Subir Chowdhury Medal of Quality Leadership’ for excellence in quality in the automotive industry.
