The focused module named Chemistry II containing some of the important topics which are basic in nature and also very important tool to study the Engineering subjects like Civil Engineering. I have gone through the whole contents of this handout of Chemistry II. The contents are written very precisely but quite understandable and I think the contents are good enough for one short semester.
It seems that the contents are very precise; the reason is that these topics will be studied by the Engineering Students. They always want brief concept of their study. So the contents of the handout are written in a simple and understandable manner which is sufficient for the Engineering students. Attention has been lavished to illustrate the chapters with necessary tables, flow charts, chemical reactions and diagrams which will give an exposition of the basic fundamental principles involved and help in giving idea of magnitude of the subject matter. These will enable the readers to understand and remember thecontents easily.
In fine I shall consider the efforts of the author to amplyrewarded, if the handout serves the needs of the students to the best of their advantages.
