The Boya BY-GM18CB is an 18-inch cardioid condenser microphone built for podiums and conference rooms. It captures audio from 50Hz to 16kHz with a focus on directional clarity. Unlike the previous BY-GM18C, this model supports AAA battery power alongside 48V phantom power. This dual-power option keeps the mic running during load shedding or when using mixers lacking phantom power.
It operates on either 48V phantom power or two AAA batteries. You don't need a phantom-powered mixer if you use batteries.
Connection requires an XLR cable to an audio interface or a 3.5mm adapter. Most PCs need an external interface for the best signal.
