Throughout the book the poet has guided his readers towards unvarnished truth meaning a truth of which anyone can connect. Some poems carry the readers to a place they may have otherwise overlooked; sometimes it is interpersonal, and other times it is global.

This book got me interested in poetry. Like a gateway drug it lured me to the harder stuff, got me interested in authors that I hadn't heard of and showed me that poetry isn't necessarily obtuse or "difficult". Need I say more? This is a great book. <3 <3
