DIFFERENT is, at its core, an exploration of the absolute, terrifying effects of human isolation.

The book is basically framed around a torn diary that I imagine finding in a quiet, bookstore by the sea.

Inside its sticky, decaying pages is the firsthand account of a 17 year old boy living in a suffocating, stagnant coastal town during the summer of 2002 and coming to terms with the horrors of human emotions.
