A brilliant book!! The author with her amazing writing capacity actually took me to those days of her Palestine life where she explored her mum’s childhood who had to flee away for her life. I felt like I am also roaming around in the roads of Ramalla with her. The journey of the author is full of excitement. As a daughter I always feel connected with my mum just as the way she did. Loved how she shared the lovely and thoughtful letters sent by her mum and how she thrived to discover the places where her ancestors belonged. It gave me goosebumps when she could find her mum’s house! Over all I would recommend this book to everyone to know the true Palestine which was enriched with customs, culture and beliefs.
