As long as the business is small it may be possible for one person to do all the functions of the organization. As the business grows it becomes essential to delegate responsibility to specialists in each area and make tem accountable for their efficient functioning. Basically there are three types of man- agement levels.
Top level management
• Middle Level Management
Lower Level Management/ Line Level Management Middle level managers report to the chief executive who is overall in charge of the organization. The middle level managers in turn, have many assistants who are responsible for specific day-to-day operations. They are known as line managers.
