I have gone, with all interest, through the book "Calculus for Engineers" written by Mr. Halim and Mr. Mohiuddin, Lecturers in Mathematics at Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka. In fact, I have left no stone unturned to improve the language they have used to define different mathematical terms, to describe the theorems therein.
The quality of the book lies in the fact that they have attempted to solve examples (problems) in the book using easier techniques of solution. The exercises meant for solution by the young learners are also well-chosen and useful. The engineering students will be, I hope, highly benefitted by this text for whom it is compiled with sincere efforts of the authors.
