SMC Fruity Orange Flavor Tasty Saline (1 box - 20 sachets)

SMC Fruity Orange Flavor Tasty Saline is an oral solution that helps to recover lost fluids from the body caused by excessive sweating. It is a healthy and tasty solution that comes in a box of 20 sachets, with each sachet containing 10gm powder. The powder needs to be mixed and dissolved properly in 500 ml pure drinking water to prepare.

Indications

Diarrhea, Dehydration, Vomiting, Fluid, and Electrolytes imbalance

Dosage

Adult: After each loose stool or vomiting 200-400 ml of prepared saline. The daily dose should be equivalent to patients' fluid requirement for maintenance and replenishment of losses. During saline therapy, normal food should be continued in the case of adults.

Children above 10 years: After each loose stool or vomiting 200-400 ml of prepared saline. Children 2 to 10 years: After each loose stool or vomiting 100-200 ml of prepared oral saline. Children less than 2 years: After each loose stool or vomiting 10 to 20 spoonfuls (50-100 ml) of prepared saline. The daily dose should be equivalent to patients' fluid requirement for maintenance and replenishment of losses. During saline therapy, mothers should not stop breastfeeding their children.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Patients with known hypersensitivity.

Precautions and Warnings

Impaired kidney function, severe persistent diarrhea, or other critical fluid loss may need to be supplemented with parenteral fluids along with oral saline. Reconstituted saline should be used within 6 hours.

Storage Conditions

Keep in a dry place away from light and heat. Keep out of the reach of children.
