Lalon's philosophy aroused a sense of awe in me, after the reading. This collection of Lalon's songs mesmerised me to the height of joy. The translation bears the testimony of the mastery of the translator. I think this book can orient Lalon to the readers who prefer reading in English to other languages. The metaphysical world Lalon wove during his life time is not for ordinary readers rather these are for the readers who have interest in mystics and mysticism. Mystics are easy at first encounter but one needs to dig deep to ponder over the thoughts they caress.
