Product Specification & Summary
This is a very personal story of my Alaska cruise,
taking us quite close to the Arctic Circle (Lutak,
Haines, latitude 59.34 North), in 2018, and then
of another cruise from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to
Santiago, Chile, and on to Easter Island by air, in
2019. During the second cruise, on our way from
the Atlantic to the Pacific, near Cape Horn, we
had stopped in Ushuaia, the southernmost town
on our planet (latitude 54 degrees, 48 minutes)
within a stone’s throw from the Antarctic. That is
the reason for putting the two stories together,
in “Earth: from North to South”. The Arctic Circle
is at a latitude of 66.5 degrees north of the
Equator and the Antarctic Circle is at a latitude of
66.5 degrees south of the Equator. I went very
close to both of them. My primary objective is to
share my wonder, my emotions and enjoyment
with others...
