This books shows that we meet many people in the course of our lives and almost every one of these people has some sort of influence on our lives. I enjoyed reading about how different people in the author's life impacted her way of life. Her stories span from Chittagong to Canada. She revisits her childhood, college and university life and life as a wife and a mother. I particularly like that she narrates her stories as a practising Muslim and shows how religion is an everyday part of her life. Her stories inspire one to live a simple life, encourage kindness, and empowers readers to have the courage to do the right thing.
