This book is intended to assist senior high school students, technical college students, and all those engaged in the various branches of the textile and clothing industry. It brings together in one volume the explanations which have become generally accepted for the chemical and physical properties, dyeing, printing and chemical finishing of textile fibres. The book is technically and scientifically more sophisticated reader will acknowledge the judicious use of generalizations to which we have had occasionally to resort. These generalizations have kept the book within its intended scope.
